Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Systems Business Analyst in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry. The role will be based in Durham, North Carolina, and will involve working closely with data migration and system setup within the HRIS business.
Key responsibilities:
About the Role: We are in search of an innovative and focused Business System Analyst who has a strong background in Rippling HRIS and significant experience with system setup and data migration. Your primary role will be providing functional solutions to business challenges and converting raw data into valuable insights that will contribute to the company's strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and evaluate the current business processes, identify areas for improvement and develop plans for implementing changes.
Design and set up the Rippling HRIS system in alignment with the company's requirements.
Conduct regular system checks to ensure functionalities are working as designed.
Migrate data from various databases or systems to the Rippling HRIS, while ensuring accuracy, reliability, and integrity of the data.
Test new Rippling HRIS functionalities and troubleshoot any functional issues.
Lead user training sessions and create user manuals or guides.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the Rippling HRIS system aligns with company's goals and objectives.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
Proven experience in setting up and managing the Rippling HRIS system.
Experience with data migration processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to convert complex business requirements into functional specifications.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional analytical and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a relevant field.
Knowledge and experience with project management methodologies.
HRIS certification would be a plus.
