Description
Copywriter (Atlanta, GA - Contract)
Here's what you'll do:
Craft persuasive and engaging copy for a variety of materials, including website content, email campaigns, social media posts, grant proposals, and marketing brochures.
Collaborate with program staff and leadership to understand campaign goals and target audiences.
Develop a strong brand voice and ensure consistency across all communication channels.
Conduct research to gather relevant information and ensure factual accuracy in copy.
Stay up-to-date on current copywriting trends and best practices.
Proofread and edit all copy before publication.
Requirements
We're looking for someone who:
Holds a Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (or has equivalent experience).
Has a minimum of 3+ years of copywriting experience, preferably within the non-profit sector.
Possesses a strong command of the English language with exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
Can write in a clear, concise, and engaging style, tailoring content to specific audiences.
Is a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Meets deadlines consistently and delivers high-quality work.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs.
