Description

Are you a technical problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment?

We're looking for a skilled Systems Engineer to join our client's team and play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of their IT infrastructure! You'll wear many hats, from designing and implementing new systems to troubleshooting complex technical issues.

Responsibilities:

System Management and Monitoring:

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, hardware, and software applications.

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any technical problems that arise.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system uptime and performance.

Deployment and Automation:

  • Design, deploy, and manage new systems and applications.

  • Automate routine tasks using scripting languages and tools.

  • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and maintain security best practices to protect our IT infrastructure.

  • Stay up to date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Assist with security audits and compliance initiatives.

User Support:

  • Provide technical support to internal users for various IT related issues.

  • Troubleshoot user account, application access, and network connectivity problems.

  • Document support interactions and resolutions for future reference.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other IT professionals, including network engineers, application developers, and security analysts.

  • Communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Document technical processes and procedures.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a systems engineering role.

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and virtualization technologies.

  • Experience with system administration tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
