Robert Half Construction Accounts Payable Specialist in Englewood, Colorado
Description
Robert Half is looking for a strong construction accounts payable specialist for a well known Construction organization in the Denver Tech Center. This role is 3 + month contract, but could go contract to hire thereafter. This role is standard Monday - Friday 8-5pm with an hour lunch and is fully in office. This role will start mid-May
• Manage a high volume of accounts payable transactions, around 1000 a month
• Regularly check and respond to emails related to accounts payable functions
• Perform 3-way match and 2-way PO matching to ensure accuracy of invoices and payments
• Handle subcontractors and lien waivers as part of the payment process
• Manage sales and use tax calculations for accounts payable
• Utilize various accounting software systems including Spectrum, Comdata and MS Office
• Perform check processing and data entry tasks related to accounts payable
• Address discrepancies in accounts payable and resolve them promptly. Majority of invoices will be operations related, and minimal jobs
