Job Responsibilities:
Patient Registration: Greet and assist patients during the registration process, ensuring accurate collection and entry of personal and insurance information.
Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments, verifying availability and confirming details while accommodating patient preferences.
Insurance Verification: Verify insurance coverage and eligibility, communicating any potential issues or discrepancies to relevant parties.
Financial Counseling: Provide information about estimated costs, payment options, and financial assistance programs to patients.
Medical Records: Ensure accurate maintenance of patient records, including medical history, consent forms, and other relevant documentation.
Admission and Discharge: Facilitate the admission and discharge process, guiding patients through necessary paperwork and procedures.
Billing Inquiries: Address patient inquiries regarding billing, explaining charges and assisting with billing-related concerns.
Customer Service: Offer exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns, providing information, and maintaining a positive patient experience.
Compliance: Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and privacy standards (HIPAA), maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare staff, physicians, and administrative personnel to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate information exchange.
Requirements
